Jan is responsible for Velostrata’s commercial success and go to market efforts. He brings over 28 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and Marketing and has been a leader in transforming companies to the public cloud.
Prior to Velostrata, he was at Barracuda Networks (CUDA) where he built Barracuda’s Public Cloud Business from zero to the number one Security ISV in the Public Cloud. His vision and execution of that vision enabled Barracuda to successfully bring over 1,000 enterprise customers to successful production deployments in the Public Cloud and resulted in Barracuda being named the ISV Partner of the Year for Azure by Microsoft in 2016 as well as an Advanced Security Competency Partner in AWS.
Earlier in his career he was responsible for commercial success of Channels and International Sales at NetContinuum ,an early security pioneer and Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
Jan’s experience spans both start-ups as well as Fortune 100 Tech companies like Microsoft and Hewlett Packard.
He holds a BSME from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
